Video Project
In this project, we were tasked with creating a 5 to 10 minute documentary-like video. We were given the option about what we did the video on. To give us some ideas, we watched two different types of documentaries: Exit Through The Gift Shop, and Blackfish. We had to create a story line and then draw out a storyboard to put down our basic ideas. After doing this, we went right into filming our videos. My first video that my original plan to shoot was about my music production Osprey Week where we recorded and produced music, however, I never ended up getting enough footage to compile a video out of it, so I instead went with the Idea of this video. If I had a chance to redo this video, I would put in a lot more effort into the actual filming and editing of this video by allowing myself more time to come up with a backup idea. All I really needed was more time for this video since it was so last minute. I really loved filming this video wit my brother Ryan because he aspires to be a film director when he grows up, so he had a lot of insight into the filming and editing of this video. He helped me a lot with the editing of this video also.
Create Your Own Art Project
This is the Create Your Own Art project. We learned a lot about how to be a better 21st century learner by learning how to persevere and by learning how to work independently to finish an art project.
Pre Assesment
Teacher Creature Project
This is the Teacher-Creature project. During this, we applied our photoshop skills to make a new photo of a teacher of our choice. My teacher of choice was my advisor Kat Ghadimi. Above is the finished project and all of the photos I used to make it. Granted it does look a little demonic, however the finished product fit all the rubric requirements so I thought it was good. Most of the components that make up the finished project are inside jokes from our advisory. There were plenty of pictures to choose from when it came to making this image. I compiled images that included the sibjects that my advisor liked. For instance, Kat's ideal planet to live on if she had a choice other then Earth would be Titan which is a moon, so I made the background a picture of the surface of Titan. I learned my boundaries with technology on this project. It has been officially decided by me that technology doesn't like me.
Landscape Project
This is the Landscape project. Here we applied knowledge of basic Photoshop skills to create a new landscape out of many different ones. Since this was my first time using Photoshop, I had difficulty with making my photo look realistic. an example of this is the white and yellow line on the road. I was experimenting with the various Photoshop tool when i stumbled upon the clone stamp tool which allows you to erase things that you don't want to see with a sample of stuff around it. This was a very difficult tool to use because you had to know where your sample was. we unfortunately ran out of time for this project so I did not finish erasing all that I wanted to erase, therefore making the picture look less realistic.
